  • October 30, 2007 Michelle Wie announced today day she will not be playing in the Japan Golf Tour Casio World Open November 22-25, 2007 at eh Kochi Kurosio CC in Kochi Japan. This ends Michelle Wie's 2007 golf season.
  • October 15, 2007 Michelle Wie's road manager, and vice-president of golf at the William Morris Agency Greg Nared resigned his position. Limiting his comments to a  thank you  for the opportunity.
  • October 11-14 2007-Michelle Wie finishes the Samsung World Championship at The Bighorn GC's Canyons course in Palm Desert California, with a 72 hole score of 306 for her first top 20 finish of 2007 beating out Bettina Hauert by one stroke for 19th place. ( Note- a 20 player field) The young Wie was 13 strokes behind 18th place finisher Ai Miyaxato and 36, yes that is correct 36 strokes off the pace established by the winner Lorena Ochoa. Michelle still has one scheduled event remaining, the Casio World Open next month a men's event on the Japan PGA Tour. As of now she is non-committal on playing. 
  • October 11, 2007 Michelle Wie celebrates her 18th birthday
  • August 23-24 2007- After 36 holes Michelle Wie is 10 over par, once again missing the cut by 5 strokes at the 2007 Safeway Classic being played at   The Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland Oregon.
  • August 16-17, 2007- After 36 holes Michelle Wie is 7 over par, missing the cut by 5 strokes at Canadian Women's Open being played at Royal Mayfair Golf & Country Club  Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. 
  • August 2-3, 2007- Michelle Wie failed to make the cut at the Ricoh Women's British Open played at The Old Course in St. Andrew's Scotland. Although she had shot a respectable even par 73 in the first round a  7 over 80 for the second round failed to make the cut. Other noteable failing to make the cut included Birdie Kim, Laura Davies and Morgan Pressel.
  • July 26-29,2007- Michelle Wie after shooting one under par 71 during the second round of the 2007 Evian Masters being played at Evian Royal Resort in Evian-Haute-Savoie France to make the cut with ease, shoots a 12 over par 84 in the third round and a  4 over par 76 in the fourth round to finish  at 16 over par, 20 strokes behind sudden death winner Natalie Gulbis. Friday's 71 was somewhat of a breakout round for the teen as it was her first under par round of 2007.
  • June 29,2007- Michelle Wie withdraws after hitting her tee shot on the 10th hole of the second round of the 2007 US Women's Open after aggravating her nagging wrist injury. At the time of her withdrawal The young Wie was 6 over par for the day, 17 over par for the tournament.
  • June 28, 2007- Michelle Wie shot an 11 over par 82 today at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Southern Pines, North Carolina in The US Women's Open. She is tied for 141st 14 strokes off the lead.
  • June 19,2007-Michelle Wie announces her withdrawal from this year's John Deere Classic July 12-15 at TPC Deere Run citing her wrist injury.  "I'm just coming back from an injury." Wie said in a press release. "While my rehabilitation is on schedule, I do not have all of my strength back yet. The TPC Deere Run course is obviously very long, and I just don't have the strength to play there".
  • June 7-10, 2007- Although Michelle Wie made the cut in the 2007 LPGA McDonald's Championship at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md. she finished 21 over, 35 strokes behind the winner. This finish was 84th, DFL among those that made the cut.
  • May 30,2007- Michelle Wie with draws from Annika Sorenstam's Ginn Tribute Tournament in Mt Pleasant SC due "tweaking" her wrist injury while playing the 16th hole. Like so much of her recent life this simple event is filled with controversy as whether she really re-injured her wrist or was baling out for fear of shooting the LPGA's dreaded 88. She still plans on playing the LPGA McDonald's Championship next weekend.
  • May 23, 2007- Michelle Wie accepts exemption and will play in The 2007 John Deere Classic July 12-15 at TPC Deere Run
  • May 19, 2007- Michelle Wie confirms she will being teeing it up in the LPGA McDonald's Championship June 7th at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Md. In 2006 she finished in a 4 way tie for fifth going -6 at the MCDONALD'S LPGA CHAMPIONSHIP, 2 strokes off the pace.
  • May 16, 2007- Michelle Wie is going to celebrate her 18th Birthday by playing in her 4th consecutive Samsung World Championship October 11-14 at Bighorn Golf Club in Palm Desert, California.
  • May 1,2007-Michelle Wie confirmed today her participation in the 2007 CN Canadian Women's Open in Edmonton at the beautiful Royal Mayfair Golf Club Aug 13-19. This is the teen golfer's  first Canadian tournament.
  • April 30, 2007- Michelle Wie is not among the more than 8000 applicants attempting to qualify for the 2007 US Open according to USGA sources. Having not played since January due to a wrist injury was no doubt a factor in her decision after coming within 1 stroke of qualifying in 2006.
  • April 23, 2007-Michelle Wie announced today she plans on playing in Annika Sorenstam's Ginn Tribute Tournament in Mt Pleasant SC starting May 31, 2007 at River Towne CC. This is a new event on the LPGA Tour and is the week before The McDonald's LPGA Championship in which Wie finished in a 4 way tie for fifth at -6 in 2006.
  • April 16, 2007 Michelle Wie attends the World Premiere of "Spider-Man 3" in Tokyo
  • April 5, 2007- Michelle Wie regretfully turns down her exemption into this year's Ginn Open after the removal of her cast and re-evaluation of her wrist injury. She has been extended an exemption for the upcoming Michelob Ultra Open in Williamsburg. With her parents wanting to take a conservative approach (Papa must really be concerned !) it will be awhile before a decision is announced. 
  • March 18, 2007- Michelle Wie's agents announced today that Michelle will not be playing in this year's 1st LPGA major the Kraft Nabisco Championship. Last year the young Wie finished third missing a play off opportunity by only one stroke.
  • February 9,2007-Michelle Wie, while running fell and injured her left wrist. The injury which resulted in a hard cast is expected by doctors to take between 4 and 6 weeks to fully heal. This will alter the young golfers schedule as she will not be playing golf until the injury is fully healed. Her right wrist which was injured earlier is still tape bound and was impeding her golf game as well although she has been working with her physical therapist up to 4 times per week. The rest should help the healing of this injury as well.
  • January 12, 2007 Ooops- Michelle Wie shoots a bogey riddled 76 in her 2nd round of the 2007 Sony Open at Kapalua Hawaii. The young teenager missed the cut by 14 stokes in 142nd place a mere 25 strokes behind the leader Luke Donald. Other notables missing the cut include Stuart Appleby, former US Open champion Corey  Pavin, Fred Funk of "I'll where a skirt if Anna out drives me" fame, Mark Calcavecchia, Stewart Cink, Tim Herron, Billy Mayfair ,former British Open champion Ben Curtis, John Huston, J.B. Holmes of distance fame, and 72 others. Man o man is the hollowing going to be wild after this one. It will be interesting to if Michelle announces her plans for the rest of 2007 any time soon.
  • January 11,2007 Michelle Wie continues her struggles as her first round 78 leaves her 15 strokes off the lead and needing a miracle on Friday to make the cut in The 2007 Sony Open  at the Kapalua Hawaii course. "Very frustrating," Wie said, whose chances of making the cut for the first time on the PGA Tour rank right up there with snow in the forecast in Honolulu.
    “She showed amazing composure after her start to score so well on the back nine,” said Australian Gavin Coles, who played with the 17-year-old Wie for his first 2 rounds.
  • January 10,2007 Michelle Wie and her partner, amateur Alex Ching, took this year's skills event at the inaugural King Auto Group Pro-Junior Skills Challenge prior to this week's Sony Open.
  • January 4, 2007 Male golfers everywhere falling all over themselves to criticize Michelle Wie's attempts to play on the "men's" tour. "Michelle Wie should 'pull the plug'' on competing in men's golf tournaments.." Stuart Appleby said. "I know that she's a big draw for the tournament and people love to come out and see her play, but it's kind of hard for me to see tournaments giving exemptions to her when there are other guys out here,'' said Chad Campbell. Stuart and Chad may join the others that just don't get it.
